I'm really ecstatic about joining a book club! My friend Candice invited me to be in it along with four other lovely ladies (it reminds me of Meryl Streep and her girlfriends in It's Complicated!) We had our first get-together today at Terra Mia reviewing our April read, Water For Elephants. It went wonderfully! Eating, catching up, discussing, reviewing... All the components of a splendid book club get-together! I am bummed I wasn't able to make it to the second part of the meeting though, heading over to the theater to see the new release!
I'm in charge of May's gathering and I am eager to host!
Next book: The Hunger Games!
